Private peering is designed to enable direct connections between endpoints through a bilateral peering protocol, particularly with peering members who have selective peering policies. This ensures the lowest latency and most consistent data flows between both endpoints without any barriers.

With over 60 peering members worldwide, including global cloud vendors, leading Internet service providers, content delivery networks, and more, there is a solution for every need.

Technical Information

We are providing 3 port types to choose from, which are:

  • 100G Single mode (LR4)
  • 10G Single mode (LR)
  • 1G Single mode (LX/LH)
  • Layer-2 networking protocols.
  • Direct connectivity with one of our connection facilities, which in turn connects to all peering members, especially with selective peering policy.
  • Easy-to-configure connection with BGP protocol or open policy based on your request.
  • We provide 7 connection facilities to choose from.
  • Providing Neutral Internet Exchange services connecting wide range of organizations across Thailand, and most of the CLMV regions, including Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos.

  • We provide the Service Levels Agreement (SLA) for uptime at least 99.99%.
  • AS Number is mandatory for every peering member.
  • Understanding of BGP protocol configuration is required.
  • Network equipment used for connecting through TH-IX must be Layer-3 devices (i.e., routers).
  • Route Server to any peering type within peering members.

  1. Existing private peering members can continue utilizing their existing services without any modifications.
  2. If you require a connection with a selective or restrictive type of peering member, please contact the relevant peering member directly. Thailand IX will facilitate the connection between both peering members using their respective AS numbers.
