Thailand IX Takes Part in APRICOT 2024 as a Sponsor of the Event
The Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT) 2024 is one of the largest network-related conferences in the world, and the largest one in the Asia Pacific region. This event is jam packed with network-related personnels. And this year is a special one for good reasons. Not only the event is going to be happening in Bangkok, Thailand, but Thailand IX is also going to be a sponsor as well.

What is APRICOT 2024?
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, this event is the largest network-related conference in Asia Pacific. The Thai Network Information Center (THNIC) Foundation is the host of the event, along with the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), with the support from the Asia Pacific Network Operators Group Ltd (APNOG).
Moreover, this event combined everything related to network and the Internet at large, come together for one mission, shaping the better Internet in the region. With participants from over 50 countries across the Asia Pacific region, from researchers to the Internet service providers (ISPs), there is something for everyone.

- Member Meetings, including APIX’s meeting, as well as 57th APNIC’s meeting.

This year, the event will organize in our home city, Bangkok, Thailand, at The Athenee Hotel Bangkok on the Wireless Road. This place is quite perfect for the event due to the ease of travel to and from the event, using public transportation like BTS SkyTrain system. As for the date, the event will be held from February 27th to March 1st, 2024.
Our Role at the Event
Since Thailand is the host country of the event, there is no reason for us not to join the event! We firmly believe that this event will provide us some knowledge and insights from our friends within the industry. Moreover, this event will give opportunity for us to connect with our friends and partners as well. It is such a rare opportunity for us to join a global conference, like this one.
Not only we are joining the event to gain knowledge, connection, and insight, but we are also having meeting with the rest of APIX’s members in the next APIX’s meeting within the event. The next APIX meeting is a continuous meeting to the previous one, which was held in South Korea. Furthermore, in the event, we will have a chance to presenting our peering services to the participants who interested in our services.
